Our 8:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Sunday morning servics are Traditional Worship
and on Sunday Evening we have both Contemporary Praise & Worship and
Traditional Evening Worship at 6:00 p.m.
We at First Baptist Church view the Bible as the Word of God... His
written, inspired message to mankind. The Bible is the Christian's "Manual
for Living"... the first place we turn to find understanding and instruction
regarding:
· The Nature of God
· TheNature of Man
· How God views the world in which we live
· What God desires for our lives and how to live out those desires
· How to build strong marriages
· How to be a better parent
· How to relate to one another
In essence the Bible offers God's perspective on the most important matters
in our lives, and that is a perspective worth pursuing. Our prayer is that
you discover the joy and satisfaction of daily reading, study and meditation
in the Scriptures.
If you would like to establish a regular routine of personal Bible Study,
but need some help getting started, our Pastoral Staff would be happy to
be of assistance. Don't hesitate to seek us out.

Traveling West on Route 60 from Charleston come to the third stop light
and turn left and go under the railroad, go to the next stop light and turn
right, go to the stop sign and we are on the corner. Turn right and come
between our buildings to the parking lot.
Traveling East on Route 60 come to the second stop light and turn right
and go under the railroad, go to the next stop light and turn right, go
to the stop sign and we are on the corner. Turn right and come between our
buildings to the parking lot.
