“The Well exists to Worship God and Advance the Gospel as we Train for ministry that will Encourage growth as we Relate with one another and the world.”

There are several ways you can get plugged into The Well Student Ministries here at First Baptist Church. Each of the opportunities we offer is carefully planned by our adult and student leadership teams to fulfill a portion of the purpose statement above. We hope you’ll join us sometime soon!

The Well – Every Wednesday from 6:30 – 7:30 we meet in the youth room at FBC. It is a great time to make friends and hang out with other teenagers and adults who are trying to figure out what life is all about and how to live life to the fullest. Most weeks include singing songs, playing a game, and a message from the Word that deals with issues teenagers are facing.

Small Groups – Small Groups meet Sunday evenings from 7:30 to 9 September through May. We meet immediately following Sunday evening service to eat some food together then we break up into guys and girls small groups. The point of this time is to give teens a chance to talk about what’s going on in their lives in a safe environment.

Afterglow – In the months we don’t do Small groups we have Afterglows. Every Sunday night in the summer months we load the bus following evening services and head to the home of a church member to eat food, play games, and hang out.

Events – Throughout the year we have a wide variety of events and activities. These are everything from overnight trips such as mission trips, camps, retreats, and conferences to local activities such as community service projects and opportunities to hang out as a group. Information on these events becomes available as they draw closer.
